SAFE-UP Courses in English language. 

The intent of the SAFE-UP “Drivers and pedestrians safety on the road” course is to describe the Safety Critical Scenarios identified by the project regarding drivers and pedestrians’ conflicts in road traffic. Additionally this course will explain risk-taking actions for drivers and pedestrians, describe risky road traffic behaviours and provide ways/ tips to mitigate these behaviours. Finally, this course describes how SAFE-UP technologies can reduce the risk of the Safety Critical Situations, by demonstrating the developed technologies.


The intent of the SAFE-UP “Drivers and bicyclists safety on the road” course is to describe the Safety Critical Scenarios identified by the project regarding drivers and bicyclists’ conflicts in road traffic. Additionally this course will explain risk-taking actions for drivers and bicyclists, describe risky road traffic behaviours and provide ways/ tips to mitigate these behaviours. Finally, this course describes how SAFE-UP’s project technologies can reduce the risk of the Safety Critical Situations, by demonstrating the developed technologies.

The intent of the SAFE-UP “Autonomous vehicles today and in the future” e-learning course is to familiarize readers with the technologies used in Autonomous vehicles and make them understand the benefits, the challenges and the possible impacts of automation in traffic. Finally, this course describes how SAFE-UP’s project technologies can be related to autonomous vehicles safety, by demonstrating the developed technologies.

The intent of the "Getting to know the SAFE-UP Demos" e-Learning course is to inform users about the SAFE-UP project and the developed technologies familiarising them with these technologies, how are they used and why. Also the purpose is to make readers understand when the SAFE-UP technologies are triggered (under which conditions) and what their capabilities and limitations are.
