In this course you will explore the implementation of innovative solutions developed within the framework of the FOR-FREIGHT project have been tailored to real operational needs of Athens International Airport (AIA), Goldair Handling, and Cosco Greece. The focus will be on how intelligent tools can enhance decision-making in the airport's supply chain, offering capabilities such as customs clearance time prediction, dynamic updates on warehouse availability, smart dispatch scheduling, and more. The ultimate goal is to address everyday operational challenges through practical, flexible, and technologically advanced solutions that improve efficiency, coordination, and the sustainability of multimodal transport systems.
In this course you will explore key challenges faced by the Romanian intermodal transport sector, focusing on critical issues such as limited visibility, lack of standardization, and the need for deeper digitalisation. It will showcase how the platform’s advanced capabilities—featuring intelligent solvers and adaptable workflows—offer practical solutions to these pressing issues. Emphasis will be placed on the platform’s ability to integrate seamlessly with existing legacy systems, optimizing logistics operations through enhanced coordination, data-driven decision-making, and streamlined processes. The aim is to demonstrate how smart, interoperable technologies can transform intermodal logistics into a more efficient, transparent, and future-ready ecosystem.
En este curso, explorará cómo las herramientas basadas en datos pueden ayudar a tomar decisiones más inteligentes en la logística portuaria. Desde proporcionar estimaciones precisas y en tiempo real de la hora de llegada (ETA) hasta permitir la optimización óptima de las rutas, abordando los retos operativos habituales con soluciones prácticas e inteligentes.
Σε αυτό το μάθημα θα εξερευνήσετε την εφαρμογή καινοτόμων λύσεων που αναπτύχθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του έργου FOR-FREIGHT και έχουν προσαρμοστεί στις πραγματικές λειτουργικές ανάγκες του Διεθνούς Αεροδρομίου Αθηνών (AIA), της Goldair Handling και της Cosco Greece. Το επίκεντρο θα είναι ο τρόπος με τον οποίο τα έξυπνα εργαλεία μπορούν να βελτιώσουν τη λήψη αποφάσεων στην εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα του αεροδρομίου, προσφέροντας δυνατότητες όπως πρόβλεψη χρόνου εκτελωνισμού, δυναμικές ενημερώσεις σχετικά με τη διαθεσιμότητα αποθηκών, έξυπνο προγραμματισμό αποστολών και άλλα. Ο τελικός στόχος είναι η αντιμετώπιση των καθημερινών λειτουργικών προκλήσεων μέσω πρακτικών, ευέλικτων και τεχνολογικά προηγμένων λύσεων που βελτιώνουν την αποδοτικότητα, τον συντονισμό και τη βιωσιμότητα των πολυτροπικών μεταφορών.
În cadrul acestui curs veți explora provocările cheie cu care se confruntă sectorul transportului intermodal din România, concentrându-vă pe aspecte critice precum vizibilitatea limitată, lipsa standardizării și necesitatea unei digitalizări mai profunde. Cursul va prezenta modul în care capacitățile avansate ale platformei – care includ soluții inteligente și fluxuri de lucru adaptabile – oferă soluții practice la aceste probleme urgente. Se va pune accentul pe capacitatea platformei de a se integra perfect cu sistemele existente, optimizând operațiunile logistice prin coordonare îmbunătățită, luarea deciziilor bazate pe date și procese simplificate. Scopul este de a demonstra modul în care tehnologiile inteligente și interoperabile pot transforma logistica intermodală într-un ecosistem mai eficient, mai transparent și pregătit pentru viitor.
